Beastie Boys have announced that they are going to release a new album this year.

The album, which is yet untitled, will be the follow up to 2004’s ‘To The 5 Boroughs’.

The band also announced they will play a series of instrumental-only shows, in a posting on Beastieboys.com.

I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had time to watch a lot of the videos that people have been sending me as of late. I did happen to watch this one however and it’s a video that I have to seriously recommend.

Apparently it’s become popular to mix videos of artists to make a completly new song. I’ve seen a couple that were kind of interesting such as Justin Timberlake Vs Corey Hart, and a few others that weren’t worth my time, but Kelly Clarkson vs. Led Zeppelin is hands down one of the best examples of video mixxing I’ve seen in a long time.

I never thought I’d hear Hendrix play Green Acres…now I have…and it was worth the wait.

A friend of mine stumbled on this while on youtube and it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. What I always thought was a cool piece by a classical composer is apparently someone elses nightmare. Enjoy!
