Seriously this has to be one of the craziest things I’ve seen on the web. I’ve seen skateboarding videos before, and there’s a lot of impressive people out there, but this video puts all of those to shame.
Ryan Simonetti: Skateboarding Stunt Reel
If this guy doesn’t die tragically before the age of forty I’ll be really impressed.

If there is anything the nonconformist hates worse than a conformist, it’s another nonconformist who doesn’t conform to the prevailing standard of nonconformity.
Bill Vaughan
How true. One of those quotes that makes you think.

I watched an episode of Seinfeld the other day. It was the episode in which Jerry and George try to sell a show about nothing to the networks…the whole episode is hilarious, a parody within a parody. I was never a big fan of the show itself, since I tend to lean toward shows with things like character developement and story…which if you watch the episode you’ll laugh at…but there really was a genius to the show, and it was never more apparent than while watching that particular episode.
That said, it’s nice to see Seinfeld turning a genre on it’s head once again. Coming out November 2007 is Seinfeld’s Bee Movie, which I’m sort of looking forward to after watching the trailer.
Check it out on the Bee Movie website.
The modern movie trailer will never be the same again.

This is probably the most interesting thing that I’ve posted in a long time. Most of you have heard of Dr Seuss, and are familiar with all his creative creatures such as the Whoos and Beasts and Sneeches…and of course the cat and the hat. Of course most of you may not have realized that Dr Seuss spent some time as a sculpter of strange and wonderful creations. As stated on the website:
“Seuss embarked on an ingenious project in the early 1930s as he evolved from two-dimensional artworks to three-dimensional sculptures. What was most unusual for these mixed-media sculptures was the use of real animal parts including beaks, antlers and horns from deceased Forest Park Zoo animals where Seuss’s father was superintendent.”

Check out some pictures of his creations at drseussart.com.

A Clockwork Orange and Reservoir Dogs were, in their own rights, seminal films depicting violence in society. Now you can see them both as you’ve never seen them before, squished together into Reservoir Droogs trailer. Of course I’m still waiting for a Straw Dogs, Reservoir Dogs, A Clockwork Orange trailer myself…but this should tide me over till someone figures that one out.
