February 2006

You knew it was bound to happen after the success of March of the Penguins. Happy Feet is a 3D animated film from Warner Bros.  It’s currently scheduled to arrive in theaters at the end of 2006.

Happy Feet Trailer

I thought this skit was funny. It’s from Steve Martin’s last appearance. My guess is that many people didn’t want to understand it since it hits to close to home. However, it’s the only true way to have money.

Check out this site.  It’s awesome!

Which sci-fi crew would you best fit in?

Here were my results:

You scored as Moya (Farscape). You are surrounded by muppets. But that is okay because they are your friends and have shown many times that they can be trusted. Now if only you could stop being bothered about wormholes.

75%
Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)

69%
Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica)

The funny thing is…now you know most of my TV viewing schedule as well.  …by the way though…I only watched Farscape once.  The muppets were cool…the show was…okay.

When will some people learn. I’m sure that there were other people who really needed that money for things like food and shelter. Some of the wasted money is listed below.

Items purchased with the $2000 Katrina debit cards.

  • $450 dollar tattoo
  • $400 massages
  • $1,100 diamond engagement ring
  • $150 worth of products at “Condoms to Go.”

One of the greatest comedians on Saturday Night Live was Eddie Murphy.  For a whole two years, he and Joe Piscapoe ruled that show with an iron fist.  I caught it in reruns in high school and spent most of a summer glued to the comedy central network watching reruns of the 80-81 series.  If you watch Murphy, one of the things that made him great was his ability to play to the camera.  Check him out in one of his most memorable sketches…as if they all weren’t memorable…

P.S. Note the special guest at the end.  It’s a treat:)

I’ve always liked this guy, ever since the I first saw The Incredible Hulk tv show back in the 80’s.  It’s nice to see him doing something positive for a change, when so many bigger celebrities are going around stroking their egos, he’s actually taking a part and giving back to society.  You gotta salute the man.  Good for you Lou!

Have you ever heard a client say something that you just couldn’t believe? Well, there’s a site to share them called Clientcopia.

They range from the basic “So, when I sign the approval form that means it’s approved? I can’t make any more changes?” all the way to plots so detailed that could rival a Grisham novel.

NBC and ABC recently traded rights and contracts for several items. Among them were the contract rights for Al Michaels and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald is Disney’s original hit character.

I guess it kind of figures, though it never would have occurred to me, that Valentines Day is one of the busiest days of the year for private detectives.

Anyway, it’s kind of an interesting article if you have the chance to read it…

…first rule of fight club…don’t talk about fight club….

Okay, so I was never good at following rules…and neither is the Bollywood…

Check out the music videos as well as the trailors…but for those of you reading this at work, the videos are racy by bollywood standards.  Think beer commercials set to a musical score…all I’m saying.
